The problem

The platform is live. The journeys aren’t.

Most engagement platforms are bought for automated journeys and end up sending a weekly newsletter. The events are missing or wrong, nobody has time to build segments, and no one can say what last month’s campaigns changed. The licence is the easy part; the operating work is what’s missing.

Signs this is you

  • Everyone gets the same message, whatever they bought
  • Welcome, abandoned-cart and win-back journeys were never set up
  • App and website events are missing, duplicated or named three ways
  • Reports show opens and clicks, not repeat purchase
What we do

From stack audit to running journeys

Platform-agnostic: we start with what you have and recommend a change only when it fixes a real gap.

Stack audit

What your CRM, engagement platform, POS, app and website each hold, what they send each other, and what is being paid for but unused.

Event and data readiness

A clean event plan — sign-up, purchase, browse, lapse — with consistent names and properties, so journeys trigger on what really happened.

Segmentation

Audiences built from purchase, behaviour and lifecycle stage, with rules your team can read and change.

Journey design

Email, push, SMS and WhatsApp journeys, consent first: who enters, what they get, when they leave, and how often is too often.

Activation and QA

Built in your platform, tested on real profiles, with links, triggers, suppression and fallbacks checked before launch.

Measurement

Holdout groups and stated assumptions, so you can see what a journey changed. No invented ROI.

Example journeys

Where most businesses start

Hypothetical examples, not results from a client. What you can run depends on your data, permissions and platform.

Welcome series

After the first sign-up or purchase: what to expect, how to get value, and the preference centre.

First to second purchase

A timely nudge based on what was bought and how often people like them come back.

Abandoned cart or browse

A reminder for customers who opted in, capped so it helps rather than nags.

Win-back

For lapsing customers, with a holdout group to check the offer is earning its cost.

Engagement models

Three levels of campaign operations

Choose execution capacity, execution with analytics, or an end-to-end lifecycle partner. Every level starts with clear ownership and a scoped statement of work.

L1 · Campaign operations

For teams that know what to send and need dependable hands-on execution.

  • Audience and segment setup against approved rules
  • Campaign and journey configuration
  • Trigger, link, event and suppression QA
  • Scheduling and launch coordination
  • Weekly execution tracker and handover notes

You receive: configured, quality-checked campaigns and a visible operating log.

Best fit: execution capacity is the bottleneck.

Price: on request

L2 · CX operations & analytics

For businesses that need execution plus a view of what is working.

  • Everything in L1
  • Lifecycle reporting and cohort reviews
  • A/B test setup and readouts
  • Conversion, engagement and opt-out trends
  • Monthly recommendations and optimisation backlog

You receive: campaign operations, a KPI view and a prioritised backlog.

Best fit: campaigns are live but nothing tells you what works.

Price: on request

L3 · Lifecycle strategy & consulting

For leaders who need someone to shape the lifecycle, not just operate a tool.

  • Everything in L2
  • Journey and retention opportunity assessment
  • Segmentation and channel orchestration blueprint
  • Offer and loyalty decision support
  • Quarterly roadmap and stakeholder reviews

You receive: a lifecycle roadmap, operating support and a measurement framework.

Best fit: the problem crosses marketing, data, product and operations.

Price: on request

Not sure which level you need? Start with a CX assessment of your systems, journeys and data gaps. Start dates, volumes, tool access and creative production are agreed per statement of work.

FAQ

Common questions about marketing automation

Can a consultant run lifecycle campaigns in our existing platform?

Usually, yes. We work inside your own account with authorised access, under your brand and your approvals, so nothing has to move. Platforms we work in include MoEngage, CleverTap, Braze, WebEngage and HubSpot. What we can do depends on your plan and access, and Kashfora does not claim a partnership or certification with any vendor.

What is the difference between marketing automation and a CRM?

A CRM records who your customers are and your relationship with them. Marketing automation uses that data to send the right message at the right moment without someone pressing send each time. Many tools do some of both; what matters is that one customer record feeds both.

How does a smaller business measure the return on marketing automation?

Against a holdout: a small group of customers who don’t receive the journey. Compare repeat purchase, revenue per customer and opt-outs between the two groups, and write down the assumptions. We don’t promise an uplift figure in advance.

How do you run WhatsApp journeys without spamming customers?

Only to customers who opted in to WhatsApp messages specifically, using approved message templates, with frequency caps, quiet hours and a one-tap way to opt out. Service messages such as order updates are kept separate from marketing, and the setup follows WhatsApp’s business policies and the privacy laws that apply to you, such as GDPR, UK GDPR and the UAE and Saudi PDPL.

What is the difference between L1, L2 and L3?

L1 runs campaigns and journeys for you. L2 adds reporting, testing and a monthly optimisation backlog. L3 adds lifecycle strategy, a roadmap and cross-functional reviews.

Do you write the copy and design the creative?

Creative production can be included or coordinated if it is part of the agreed statement of work. The standard engagement covers journey logic, setup, QA and measurement.

How much does it cost?

Price on request. Each level is scoped to your volume, channels and platform, and we share the cost when you enquire, before any work starts.

Which marketing automation platform should a growing business choose?

The one that fits your data, channels and team, not the longest feature list. Shortlist platforms that receive events from your systems, store consent per channel, segment on behaviour and purchases, and let you export everything if you leave. Ask each one to show your first three journeys working, and check how the price scales with contacts and messages. We recommend a change of platform only when it fixes a real gap.
